Staudacher 600
From giantscaleplanes.com
This is another one I bought off of a guy at the field.
It's got a split wing with a 6' wing span and
is 5 1/2' from spinner to tail. Very aerobatic.
The engine is a Ryobi 32 spinning
an 18x6 prop.
Here you can see how the wing splits
and is removed. Each wing half has a tea cup
hook and is kept together with a spring during
flight. The joining spar is an aluminum tube
that slides through a fiber glass tube in the fuse.
